Welcome to Singapore Trauma
The on-going COVID19 pandemic has placed a heavy burden on healthcare systems world-wide. Many lives and livelihoods have been affected. Some changed forever.
As a trauma and acute care community, we have always put ourselves at the forefront of providing care to those affected by crisis. On behalf of the organising committee of STACC, I would like to express my sincere and deepest respect and appreciation for all who have come forward during this crisis to provide unwavering care to our patients and each other.
Due to the current crisis, we will not be able to deliver STACC 2020 as planned. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
We will continue to monitor the evolving situation in Singapore and globally as we plan ahead for STACC. It would be challenging to provide a specific and confirmed date for our next meeting. However, we endeavour to deliver STACC in April 2021. We are currently evaluating the various methods in which STACC can be organised such that, despite the crisis, our learning and sharing of knowledge will still continue for ourselves and our patients.
The organising committee of STACC will keep everyone updated in a timely manner.
Thank you for your continued support for STACC. I look forward to renewing our fellowship soon.
Sincerely,
Dr Teo Li Tserng
